Positive Legacy

Leaving A Positive Legacy

One World United Through Music

Positive Legacy is the non-profit arm of Cloud 9 Adventures. Positive Legacy is a 501(c)(3) charity organization committed to integrating live music and service by taking actions that positively impact people and the environment in the communities we visit. The goal is to develop service activities that people can participate in to bring a deeper sense of purpose to their travel experiences and the music surrounding it.

Looking Forward to 2018!

Positive Legacy is planning for another exciting year on board Holy Ship! in 2018. We invite all ShipFam to support our mission to integrate music and service to benefit people and the environment in the ports we visit each year. You can get involved through our Charity Auctions – by donating unique and creative items for others to bid on, participating in our next exciting Day of Service and Celebration, and learning about being a conscious cruiser.

Stay tuned for continued announcements regarding these opportunities as they develop!

Holy Ship 2017 Recap

Thank you for leaving your Positive Legacy on Holy Ship! We are excited to announce that the charity auctions for 8.0 and 9.0 and pre-cruise raffles raised over $14,000! Your support will help fund much needed programs & supplies for The Bahamas Children’s Emergency Hostel in Nassau.

Your support enabled us to fund The Bahamas Children’s Emergency Hostel

The Bahamas Children's Emergency Hostel provides temporary accommodation, food, clothing, medical care and other necessities for the benefit of abandoned and neglected children, until more permanent arrangements can be made for their welfare. Your support provided much needed food, supplies and provisions at the facility that houses approximately 35 children.

Holy Ship! Day of Service

Together we helped repair the facilities grounds and received an opportunity to spend some quality time entertaining the children that live in the hostel. This was the first year we have held a Day of Service during Holy Ship! and was a very special experience. Thank you to our inaugural guests that joined us in truly leaving a positive legacy in Nassau!

Trees, Water & People

Positive Legacy and Trees, Water & People also helped guests travel responsibly by offsetting the carbon emissions from their travel to Port Canaveral for Holy Ship! These carbon offset donations are helping Guatemalan families reduce their firewood consumption by 50%, Haitian families plant trees that will nourish their kids and generate income, and Honduran families switch from kerosene lanterns to clean solar lighting.
